Meet the Author

Tanya Louise Searle was born in Taunton, Somerset on the 8th August 1984. She spent much of her early childhood elbow deep in the muck of the countryside, helping her father harvest potatoes and regularly swinging from tree branches.

 

She left education at eighteen, having attained a BTEC National Diploma in applied sports science.

 

Years of working followed, firstly in finance and then in care. Ten years, one husband and two children later, she went back into education; gaining a place at the University of the West of England where she is currently still a full-time degree student.

 

English literature was never an easy subject in school, but it was her love of reading that led her to type her first novel... and go on to type another.
